KRAMP SUPPORTS NEW STEPS TO HELP THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY WITH MARIJUANA FOR MEDICAL PURPOSES
March 31, 2014
Belleville, ON –
Daryl Kramp, Member of Parliament for Prince Edward-Hastings is pleased
to support new measures to help the medical community with marijuana
for medical purposes.“I believe these new measures which include information on dosage guidelines, educational material and increased oversight, will help decrease the potential for over prescribing and negative health impacts.” said Daryl Kramp, M.P.
Marijuana is not an approved drug or medicine in Canada and has not gone through the necessary rigorous scientific trials for efficacy or safety.
Health Canada does not endorse the use of marijuana, but the courts have required reasonable access to a legal source of marijuana for medical purposes. As a result, the Government of Canada believes that this must be done in a controlled fashion to protect public health and safety.

re: Does Daryl Kramp support the removal of cannabis as a schedule II controlled substance from the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (S.C. 1996, c. 19)?
Dear Daryl Kramp,
Do you support the simple removal of cannabis as a schedule II controlled substance from the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (S.C. 1996, c. 19)?, and let it be treated the same as Lettuce, Tomato, Oregano, Roses, Aloe Vera, Fern or any other common garden herb, flower or house plant?
Do you know the difference between Cannabis Sativa, Cannabis Indica, and Cannabis Ruderalis?
I look forward to receiving your responses as it will be made public, so then others wont need to ask you the same question.
Kind regards,
Sam Vekemans (address)
P.S. All 306 Members of Parliament are being asked these same questions.
