Newmarket-Aurora MP Lois Brown Welcomes the passing of Safe Streets and Communities Act
Newmarket-Aurora MP Lois Brown today welcomed the passing in the House of Commons of the Safe Streets and Communities Act (Bill C-10).
“Our Government is committed to ensuring criminals are held fully accountable for their actions and that the safety and security of law-abiding Canadians and victims comes first in Canada’s justice system,” said MP Brown. “Bill C-10 will extend greater protection to the most vulnerable members of society as well as victims of terrorism, further enhance the ability of our justice system to hold offenders accountable for their actions and help improve the safety and security of all Canadians.”
The Safe Streets and Communities Act, fulfils the government’s June 2011 Speech from the Throne commitment to “move quickly to re-introduce comprehensive law-and-order legislation to combat crime and terrorism.”

MP Lois Brown attends marijuana rally

Tea Brewhaha Party leader Tomasino Paezzano joined MP Lois Brown recently at a legalize marijuana rally...the event ended when they ran out of food..said Paezzano of the issue and event,
"Listen, I don't know what was in those brownies but right now I don't even know my freakin name."
MP Brown was not available for comment on whether she supported medical marijuana although she acted very paranoid and left immediately following the event.

Dear Lois Brown,
Do you support the simple removal of cannabis as a schedule II controlled substance from the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (S.C. 1996, c. 19)?, and let it be treated the same as Lettuce, Tomato, Oregano, Roses, Aloe Vera, Fern or any other common garden herb, flower or house plant?
Do you know the difference between Cannabis Sativa, Cannabis Indica, and Cannabis Ruderalis?
I look forward to receiving your responses as it will be made public, so then others wont need to ask you the same question.
Kind regards,
Sam Vekemans (address)
P.S. All 307 Members of Parliament are being asked these same questions.
