THREE OF FIVE PC LEADERSHIP CANDIDATES HAVE SMOKED POT

... But rival candidate Jim Flaherty, the finance minister who made a name for himself as attorney general pushing his tough-on-crime agenda and cracking down on squeegee kids, has also toked.

"Yeah, in my teenage years," said Flaherty, 52.  "A couple of times."

But, Flaherty added quickly, it was a walk on the wild side that didn't last very long.

"I have to admit: I didn't like it," he said.

Other federal Conservative ministers are on record.
Finance Minister Jim Flaherty and Treasury Board President Tony Clement answered the question in 2002, when they were vying for the leadership of the Ontario PC Party.
“Yeah, in my teenage years … a couple of times,” Mr. Flaherty said. “I have to admit: I didn’t like it.”

re: Does Hon. Jim Flaherty support the removal of cannabis as a schedule II controlled substance from the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (S.C. 1996, c. 19)?
Dear Hon. Jim Flaherty,
Do you support the simple removal of cannabis as a schedule II controlled substance from the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (S.C. 1996, c. 19)?, and let it be treated the same as Lettuce, Tomato, Oregano, Roses, Aloe Vera, Fern or any other common garden herb, flower or house plant?
Do you know the difference between Cannabis Sativa, Cannabis Indica, and Cannabis Ruderalis?
I look forward to receiving your responses as it will be made public, so then others wont need to ask you the same question.
Kind regards,
Sam Vekemans (address)
P.S. All 307 Members of Parliament are being asked these same questions.
